Escape-Room Research Challenge

“Escape! Your dream job awaits you.”

You’ve been working for Dulles Ditchwater Ltd. since graduation and want a change. You realise you won’t get a promotion with your current management and so have to escape to a new role. You have a chance. Wunderbar Inc is looking for a new competitive intelligence expert – but to get this job you have to be able to show you have the CI skills. They’ve set some tasks and you’ll need to complete these to get to the next stage. If you do, there is a substantial participation bonus offered – and your name will (if you permit) be announced. Do you have what it takes to escape and find a new future with Wundebar or will you stay stuck in Schlaffen und Langeweile?

Our escape room challenge will test your competitive intelligence research and analysis skills with simple problems to solve. Some involve research skills. Some analysis and deduction skills. Some general knowledge, logic and reasoning. Can you crack them all to get your new job? (And if you want to confer with or seek help from others, give it a try – but remember they want the job too, so ultimately you are on your own and they may even mislead you to throw you off track).

Note: Wunderbar Inc. knows that some job candidates may need help  – but like in real-life, you’ll need to pay for this, by accepting a 5% reduction each time in the bonus you can get with Wunderbar for completing a task. However getting help won’t mean you have lost. You just will lose some of your potential bonus for winning. So if stuck, it’s better to ask than spend your life and future working for Dulles Ditchwater Ltd..
