Gerrit Schimmelpenninck studied contemporary history in Utrecht and started his career as a research analyst at Egon Zehnder International, working on board level searches for various blue chip companies. He then moved the Dutch management consultancy firm Ebbinge where Gerrit followed his career to become a consultant for predominantly Dutch midmarket private equity companies. Here Gerrit specialised at advising on board level human capital issues in the PE portfolio companies. Late 2016 Gerrit was asked to move to Philips to help set up the newly formed Talent Intelligence team. The team is specialised in advising a wide variety of functions on location strategy, M&A targeting, organisation design, market intelligence and recruitment strategy, all through human capital analytics. Gerrit is 34 years old and works and lives in Amsterdam.
